This listing is for Tales to Astonish #27, published by Marvel in 1962. This is a key book that includes the 1st appearance of Ant-Man.

It is also scarce with only 999 graded copies a. Ccording to the CGC census. This book is rated 2.5 (Good +) by CGC and has "Cream to Off-White Pages". I think it looks quite presentable for the grade - it would likely grade quite a bit higher if not for some tape on the interior cover (CGC/Overstreet/etc of course do not consider tape restoration, they just take it into account when assigning the grade). I've priced it to sell.

I make every effort to note noticeable damage to the slabs, but minor imperfections like small scuffs are extremely common straight from CGC/CBCS/PGX. Newton Rings are also extremely common in newly slabbed CGC books (CGC tried to better protect the books by sandwiching them tighter in the cases, but as a result, a very large portion of newly slabbed books have some degree of rings).

The visual effect is similar to oil on a water puddle because of the two plastics.
