In 1982 Marvel started publishing Mini-Series for the first time! The 3 issue Marvel Super Hero Contest of Champions was the FIRST EVER Marvel Mini-Series followed by the 1982 classic Frank Miller Wolverine Mini-Series! The Much Harder to find Newsstand edition! Newsstand books were handled uncaringly by the general public, by kids with snotty noses and sticky fingers, at your local 7-11 and other locations that's why they are hard to come by in better conditions! How many were sent back and then how many survived in high grade shape!
